In relation to my previous post..

I live in Bandar Baru Bangi.

Bought a car from Kuantan.

Got the 1000km service in Penang.

Got the 5000km service in JB.

Stayed in downtown JB for a night, and I was 'culture shocked'. At 12:30am I tried to find a snooker center in the town to kill some time but to my amazement I couldn't find any (maybe it was due to some divine intervention as it is Awal Muharram). With a friend I scoured almost every road in the town until 2:30am to no avail.

Adding to my amazement of this city I found out 2 particular business that you don't expect them to be running at that hour. At least not in KL. Car wash and motorcycles repair/service shop. Not one or two, but a whole bunch of them! It's like if your business doesn't open at that hour you are so loser. Didn't sure if they're open for 24 hours though.

Well, maybe people in Klang Valley could learn a thing or two from these people..

Had chance to spend the nights at Tune Hotel. IMHO it is still quite far from the level of "5-star experience" as they advertise but it is definitely my option of budget hotel for when travelling alone. Really like the big shower head they got in the bathroom.

Clean environment and far less spooky than normal budget hotel/motel I've been. They will only provide you the room with no TV, No air-condition (got a ceiling fan instead), and no towel. If

you can't spend the night without all these things, and didn't bring any towel, you can add them with certain price.

Warning though, if you are claustrophobic by all mean stay away from Tune Hotel.

A few friends fussing over me to update this blog (the nerves). Never thought anyone still reads this blog anyway. Well it's really quite a while since I last post an entry, so back by popular demands, here's an update.

I've moved. From a rented apartment to my own house. Credit to Mizie for the house as he's filthy rich and decided to buy another house worthy of his richness leaving this cheap house for me to seek out every last coins under the sofa for me to acquire. So if you ever happens to be in Bandar Baru Bangi, do drop by.

Nowadays I'm hooked with Mafia Wars. Spent most of my internet time on it. It was also the main reason for me to open a FB account.

After spending quite sometime of installing, uninstalling, reinstalling, updating, and hard resetting, I finally manage to get my "free" version of Garmin Mobile to run on my Omnia.

As a first time user of a GPS navigating device, I'm quite impressed with it. So now technically I won't be lost no matter where I am. Just tell me your coordinates and I'll get there without you telling me the directions.. sort of.

Recently there's a suspicious guy always knocking on the grill of the apartment in front of mine. Not sure if he was the husband but if he was, shouldn't he have the keys for his own apartment?

I don't really bother or care about the guy relationship with the neighbor but it really annoys me hearing him knocking on the grill for about 1 or 2 minutes at 10.00pm. Sheeeshh.. leave the keys under the pot or doormat or something, just stop knocking the grill in the middle of the night will you!!!

A one day trip with my half of the family to Kuala Terengganu filled my Chinese New Year weekend. I haven't been there for more than 10 years. Seems like KT has been upgraded to city status. Yes CITY. Now KT is equal with KL and JB. Well not quite.

It isn't KL or JB kind of city status but actually more like 'Melaka the Historical City' city. The official name is 'Kuala Terengganu Bandaraya Warisan Pesisir Air'. Well I'm not all psyche about it. 'Tis not my first time there but it is for my wife. So as how a first time should be, I tried my best to make it memorable.

Watched The Last Mimzy last night. I can only describe it as weird. It's sci-fi, comedy, and kinda drama mixed into one movie. Don't think it has a strong plot. Well whatever. At least it's good to know that Intel will still be going strong and uses the same logo when we reach the era of Star Trek.

Anyway I think I'll be writing gibberish here everyday. We'll see what'll happen from then.

Street rally seems to be the in thing nowadays. They used to be popular back in the old days when our forefathers fought for independence. Those who conducted the demonstrations are considered heroes of the nation. But now people who involved in these kind of demonstrations are considered enemies to country. Hmmm.. how time has changed..

I'm filling my time with Need for Speed Prostreet and Gears of War now. Still in the beginning levels though. Don't know if I ever gonna finish them.

Have you seen that particular music video from Nickelback? Kudos to whoever made the video. It's really inspiring to watch. I really do have greater respect for people who has no second thought in helping a total stranger. 'Tis somehow get me this sense of joy knowing that in this morally degenerating world that people with good soul still exist. It doesn't matter what race they are or what god they worshiped.

Lately the news about a child raped while celebrating our nation pride and joy tradition, the Hari Raya house visiting makes me awe in disbelief. What actually happens to our people? What have Malaysian become? Have the level of humanity reach a new low in a country that boast of its 'sopan-santun budaya kita'?

I think our education system need to give more emphasis on moral education. Drop the nonsense debate about sex education. This is more important right now. Schools these days need to literally teach children that killing is bad. Raping is the act of a lowlife scum. SPM should include additional mandatory paper with question like this:

Convicted killers in our country should be:

A. put to jail for life with 1000 whip.
B. put on death penalty.
C. put on death penalty after 1000 whip.
D. All of the above.

So lets take a moment and think about ourselves. What have we done? Have we ever help somebody without a single thought of getting something in return? Have we ever pay it forward?

Go pay the toll for the stranger behind your car. Go pay the drink for the tables next to you. Go buy some candy and send it to an orphanage. Let's bring back humanity to our life.

It has been long since I last stepped my foot in Lowyat. The traffic there was one of the reason for being so. But last weekend I was there on a buy-or-die mission to get myself a laptop that allow me to play most if not all the latest games. And I got one.

It's Acer's new pride so called the Gemstone. Acer has announced new specs for this laptop generously giving 250GB harddisk with the same retail price. Yet there's only 1 small problem. All the Acer ads states that it comes with Nvidia GeForce 8600 GT but the stocks that came from the manufacturer was equipped with the GS version. Stupid Acer.

Wandering the floors of Lowyat, I managed to get a glimpse on a unit that had GT with same specs as advertised. I had the reseller to check their inventory if they have anymore of the that same unit. Unfortunate they haven't. With a slight discount and an extra 1GB RAM I decided to buy the display as I'm quite satisfied after inspecting it and the rest is history. I reckon I was the last to get my hand on the GT version (I walk across the same store again and they had a new display unit with GS).

So my official apology for my lovely wife. I love you so much but it's GAMING TIME! Yeahaaa!!

It has been ages since I last post an entry on this blog. Well, I'm sticking with the "I've been busy" excuse. It doesn't really matter anyway. No one ever peeks at this blog anymore.

So, what're the hot issues nowadays? Express bus accidents? Well I do sympathize with the family of the recent accident, but these things doesn't directly affect my life right now. So i don't really wanna comment about it. Frankly, I think if everyone do their part right, things like that would be less likely to happen. So there's actually no single solution for it.

Few weeks ago I had the chance to be a wedding photographer for my brother-in-law. Using Ajon's camera, this is an example of my works. It sucks isn't it? Well OKlah for my first time. Need to hold the camera steadier next time. If there is a next time..

I haven't watch pirated vcds for a long time. Can't remember what the last movie I watched on them. Anyway recently for some reason I had the chance to watch Ghostrider on pirated vcd. The quality was similar with what I had remembered but the thing that really cracks me up is the subtitles.

Being a cameraphone, my K750i doesn't really good with pictures at night having no flash and all. It also doesn't have the abundant functionality that digital camera has. So with night mode it can only took picture like this.

So I've did some research and decided to hack the phone. The result is I've now got the option of long exposure (about 2 or 3 seconds) so that the picture taken at night would look much clearer, like this.

Now if I only got a tripod that could hold my phone so i don't cramp my hand holding the phone steadily for 3 seconds!

Last Saturday I did a basic physical test and the results reveals that my fat percentage was way above the normal value. And I mean way above. So high that it got both me and the lady who did the test shocked. She made me did the test 3 times just to be sure.

My BMI was slightly under normal indicating that I'm too slim but the fat percentage was far than those who're obese. Frighteningly fascinating.

So for those who says that I'm skinny.. in your face!

Nothing is free in life. There's a price for everything. The price doesn't necessarily be money but also in other kind of form that sometimes we didn't even realize.

Humans need to learn that they can't have everything. You have to sacrifice something to gain another. It's a rule of thumb. We cannot have a 100% perfect life.

I do believe in fate. But I still think that 95% of what we are or where we are is due to our decisions and choices. The remaining 5% was due to good luck, bad luck, wrong time at the wrong place, forces that you can't defy, etc.

The fact is that it's your choice that made you what you are today, what life you're living in today. For every decision you make something will be sacrifice. It might be a big sacrifice to get small thing, or a small sacrifice for a greater good. At the end of the day what justifies your sacrifice is: Is it worth it?

I managed to install Windows Vista Ultimate on home PC. Yet Vista gave my system a base score of 1 disabling me from using Windows Aero functions. Damn.

I just turned into a console gamer some 2 weeks ago. Still getting use of the controller as all this time, the keyboard was my best friend.

I'm starting my experience with Kingdom Hearts II. The game animation was good. I'm not really sure how many percent of the game I've played so far but to tell the truth early stages of the game was full of slow cut scene that was a pain in my butt rather than the actual game. Should have had some popcorns or chips with me.

Anyway the game now is starting to get interesting. Need to finish is as soon as possible so I could get my hands on other games. Cheepox, I don't think I'll be going back to my hometown anytime soon so go get one yourself.

Last weekend my wife and I together with Cheepox and Piah went to the Summit for our first trial at wall climbing. I was actually having thought about doing this activity for a long time. It really was an exciting and enjoyable thing to do eventhough I've foreseen the muscle aches as an after effect.

We started with a brief course on rope tying, devices use, and communication ethics for wall climbing.

Cheepox was the first one to climb as we figured he should have the most upper body strengh (kononnye).

But somewhere around here his legs starts to shake.. and time for the real hero to show how it's done..

.. and of course, he reached the top without breaking a sweat. Piah was the only female contender as I don't want my wife to get any muscle ache so that she could give me a massage later.

In the end self satisfaction really kicks in and at last I'm certified in something. I'm a Certified Belayer! Wooohoooo!

What would you do when you woke up one Sunday morning and everything seemed like every other Sunday morning. The clock on your desk ticked slightly pass 9. You got up from the bed just like you usually do.

You pulled the curtain to let the sunlight in. When you opened the window you somewhat felt something is off. You paused for a moment to figure out what it is. No birds chirping. Well you thought it's just one of those Sunday. Apart from that the day seems to be beautiful.

After a nice warm shower, you turned on the TV to watch those weekend morning cartoons while munching your cereal. Oops. The volume seemed to be louder than usual. You tried to adjust the volume level to found out it is the same volume that you use everyday. You lower the volume.

Three spoons of cereal later you realized something just don't add up. It's been awfully quiet for a usual Sunday morning. To satisfy your curiosity, you went out the house. You checked out the next door neighbor. Their car is there but no one seems to be home. No shrieking and giggling of their kids that you always hear every weekend. No cars or motorcycle pass by your house. It's just so quiet.

You ran back into the house grabbing your hand phone. You tried calling a few friends that you usually hang out with. None of them answered. You tried calling your hometown. Still nobody picked up.

You reached for your keys and starts the car. You drove around the neighborhood. The road was empty. No glimpse of anybody. Things seemed to be running like usual. The traffic light. The stores in the shop lot. But you couldn't spot a single living creature. No stray cats and dogs running besides the road. No one's running the convenience store or even the gas station. Every living thing besides you seemed to disappear.

What would you do?

Somebody e-mailed me this picture yesterday. The story that came with it was about a guy who was force to marry a dead girl. The bride in the pic was already dead and they mounted the body to some woods to perform the wedding ceremony. It was said that when you look at the pic and the bride seems to smile at you then bad things will befall upon you (insert the scariest sfx you've heard here).

I'll leave it to Jamban to come up with some explanation from break-the-chain or something. All and all it will be haunting this blog for a week or so..

Aidil Adha at my wife's hometown is a first for me. As well as celebrating my birthday there. Well it's a whole new experience for me.

Anyway we are already in 2007. None of my last year wish list came true though. It's the time people asking around about new year resolution and such. As for me, my resolution is the same as last year and every other year before that. None.

Ever since I can remember I never had a new year resolution. I just can't find the use for it other than for answering TV interviews, blogging and a stereotype subject when you hanging out with friends and had nothing to talk about.

If you really want to do something or achieve something, why wait for a new year to come? Why not do it tomorrow? Heck, why not doing it last year? Anyway with those who had a new year resolution, good for you. Don't believe anything I said. Go for it. Make it happen.

I'm still recovering from a cold fever that I cought last week on the last day of my business trip to Johor and Melaka. Somehow the dosage that the doc gave me wasn't strong enough as it took longer for me to get better. Plus the weather these days dosen't help me much. It's been cloudy and rainy all day. I'm still suffering from nose block and a slight cough.

Anyway yesterday afternoon was fun. Together with several colleagues, we went to Alamanda for a bowling game that lasted until almost 4pm. I won 1 of the 2 games we played. Returned to the office and fill the remaining office hour with Counter Strike. What a good day..

Finally I finished The Da Vinci Code last weekend. It took me a little over 2 hours. The movie of course. I almost read the book when the trailer for the movie was release. So being me I scrap all the intention to read the book. It was a good movie and from it I could tell is was a great novel.

Talladega Nights on the other hand was entertaining. Apart from guy kissing guy scene everything was ok. Still it doesn't get me laugh my lungs out. Anyway more movies awaits me..

I watched all the Card Captor Sakura episodes plus a bunch of movies and specials back in my days in college. She was indeed one of my favorite superhero with her ever changing costume (something that most superhero don't do as they like to stick with only one outfit), her fearsome guide Kerberos, and her faithful sidekick Tomoyo.

My wife recently had a sudden craving for a digital camera. Not digital SLR kind of camera but a simple point & shoot. After some searching we decided to get a silver Cyber-Shot DSC-T10.

The picture quality was stunning. The features are great (even though most of the time the mode will be set to 'Auto'). The only downside that I found out after we bought the camera and tested it at home was the date/time stamp feature was not a standard. It can only be enabled if you're printing the picture yourself.

So with all the ingenuity put inside this sleek camera, it kinda hard for me to digest how the hell did they forgot (or not) to include that small feature. It's a little bit frustrating. Anyway after a little work searching the net, I've got a third-party software that would do that. But still.. Demmmm.

Couple of days ago, through the advancement of communication technology, I received an audio clip of a teleconversation. It was between a guy and a Streamyx call center agent. And boy was the guy really pissed. It started off slow but after a while the guy was shouting, screaming and cursing. The F word used was a lot more than can be found Rumet's blog.

Anyway how would you interpret this sentence: 'lying on a plane'. Is it

a. lying on your back on an airplane
b. lying on your back on a plane (as in X-Y plane)
c. telling a lie on an airplane
d. telling a lie on a plane (as in X-Y plane)
